1. Only Maintenance Required In 21 Years Was Float Switch Replacement After 9 Years
We installed the M53 primary submersible in 2005 which at the time of this publishing is 21 years ago. The quality of the pump is superb. Its cast iron weight keeps it stationery in the basin during heavy rainstorms. To date we have only replaced the float switch once which was easy to do. Fortunately it did not happen during a heavy rainstorm.
We get a lot of heavy rainstorms. This pump is a dependable work horse.
